The upcoming varsity volleyball game against Howell High will be on April 24 and will be held at FHN in the auditorium at 6:00 pm.
“I am not worried about how we will play,” senior Logan Bergman said. “We have beat them once before, and this time it is a home game so I like our odds.”
Recently the Knights varsity team beat CBC in a tournament this past weekend and is currently 12-6. Bergman, an outside hitter for the varsity team is hoping to have an even match against their rival team.
“We have always been very well matched against Howell,” Bergman said. “Our games are never single sided.”
The game is expected to be a difficult, but junior Kevin Rudberg isn’t nervous and plans on having the Howell Vikings beat.
“We’ve already beat Howell, so we know we can do it,” Rudberg said. “We expect to beat them for sure.”
In the past, both teams have successfully beaten their opponent many times. This game, like so many others will take physical and mental strength, determination, and willpower for the Knights to end victorious.
“ As a team we need to work on a little bit of everything and also our attitudes preparing for and during games,”Rudberg said.
