Landon Porter (Sophomore)
Boys Volleyball
Sophomore Landon Porter is looking forward to using a variety of different plays this season so the other team won’t see it coming.
“Volleyball is an energizing sport that you cheer for every point you get and the mood you have with your teammates is always uplifting,” Porter said in regards to his favorite part about volleyball.
Landon’s favorite memory this year was beating Desmet because they were down by alot but came back to win it in the end. He believes that in order to improve this season, he needs to work on communication with all the hitters.
Ryan Hale (Freshman)
Boys Golf
Freshman Ryan Hale is most looking forward this season to striving to be his best and getting better everyday. Ryan believes that in order to improve, he needs to keep his head down and work on his muscle memory so he can have a good shot everytime.
“My favorite part about golf is waking up early and getting out on the first holes tee box with the dew still on the ground and then the sound of a driver breaking the silence,” Ryan said.
Megan Dagenais (Sophomore)
Girls Soccer
Sophomore Megan Dagenais’ favorite memory this year is spending time with her team during practice and at team bonding. Megan is most looking forward to get the chance to beat howell later this season. “My favorite of soccer would have to be the feeling after scoring a goal, setting up a good play, or a win,” Dagenais said. Megan believes that in order to improve this season, they need to work as a team.
Brice Perry (Freshman)
Boys Tennis
Freshman Brice Perry’s favorite part about tennis is going to practice and improving everyday. His favorite memory this year was beating Howell in their first match which is one of their toughest rivals. Brice looks most forward to seeing the team do good this year.
Graham Riley (Sophomore)
Baseball
Sophomore Graham Riley is most looking forward to the Central and Howell games this season. Graham believes that in order to improve this season, he needs to work on his hitting and arm strength. The JV team is currently 12-3 this season. Graham’s favorite part of baseball is pitching.
