The cooks are working hard 5 days a week preparing breakfast and lunch for the students and faculty at Francis Howell North.
“I love these kids,” said kitchen worker Clarence Wheeler.
The company hired by Francis Howell School District is called Sodexo. The cooks work 5 days a week and get here at 5 a.m.. 20 workers show up to work everyday to cook our school food. Although it is almost all women in the kitchen, there are 2 men that also work in the kitchen.
“The ladies are nice to work with,” said Wheeler.
Wheeler has worked at our school for 6 years and loves his job. He helps prepare lunch and makes sure everything is stocked correctly. As busy as they get, they all get along great and always have some laughs and smiles.
“The kids, the people and the environment [are] great,” Vicki Frazzeta said.
Vicky Frazzetta is a cook in the cafeteria and has been for two years now. She enjoys working here and loves the kids. The only thing that bothers her is when kids steal from the lunch room.
“Stealing is terrible. I would give it to you rather than you steal it,” said Frazzetta.
