With a high of 88° and a low of 43°, Missouri is dishing out some major weatherly mood swings. The sweltering afternoons and the bone-chilling nights leave one question on students minds, “Are we going outside for gym?”
“The weather affects us in the morning because it’s a little colder,” FHN basketball coach Brandon Gregory said.
The students had free days in gym due to the weather last week, with all the rain there wasn’t much to do. They have been playing mostly basketball and mat ball.
“Not having access to the gym due to testing affects us too,” said Gregory
The track and field section of gym class might be messed up again this week, but the gym teachers still don’t know. If it does, they don’t really have plans, so there might just be free days instead.
