It’s the beginning of a new school year, which means it’s time to stock up on all the latest class apparel. Junior and senior classes have been busy selling their own class apparel and alongside them, Knightline has been
selling the Homecoming GameDay shirts.
“I’m really glad I can finally buy all of the senior stuff,” senior delegates member Emma Cleveland said. “It’s something I’ve looked forward to for a long time.”
Seniors have been busy selling their class shirts for $10 all week during every lunch. Along with the shirts they have also been selling sunglass for three dollars and lanyards for three dollars. Seniors students had the option of purchasing each item individually or just the lanyard and sunglass for five dollars, that is of course if they wanted all three items they can be purchased for 15 dollar. These items will also be on sale the week before homecoming during all lunches. All the money that is collected will be used for the senior class.
“I think people like our T-shirts a lot this year also the lanyards and sunglasses have been a big hit,” Emma Cleaveland said.
Along with the seniors, the junior class has been selling their own class shirt for $10. This year, the junior class has the option of having their name printed on the back of their shirts for an additional $5. Order forms for the shirt can be found in room 8. The money made from the shirts will be used for Prom.
“I think that the juniors are really excited because freshman year we just had a very generic maroon color T-shirt and people aren’t so hot about the color maroon,” Junior Class President Tessa Smith said. “Last year people didn’t really respond to the T-shirt that was put out, so I feel like just having a good T-shirt will be responded to really well.”
Knightline has also been selling the Homecoming GameDay T-shirt and made it available at the Varsity football game against Vianney and then after that during all lunches all the way up to the Homecoming Game.
“Pretty much everyone that I’ve talked to like the Homecoming GameDay shirts,” Varsity Knightline Member Sam Immekus said.
