*New during the 2014-2015 school-year, Sophomore Students will be able to participate in a “retired” ACT + Writing assessment. This will take place on Thursday, September 28th during the day. All other students will attend classes as usual. The purpose of this assessment will be to gain a baseline measure for students on this national test. This opportunity will allow students exposure to the ACT testing format, provide them an opportunity to gauge pacing of the test, and allow for an opportunity to discover areas the student may want to seek further practice to prepare for taking the ACT in the future. The ACT assessment given on this date will be scored by Princeton Review. Please feel free to contact Dr. Birch at 851-5020 if you have any questions/concerns. 9/28 Birch
