The Varsity football team has their Senior night on Friday, Oct 3. The boys play Timberland at 7:00 p.m. for their last home game of the season.
“Senior night is exciting because I get to celebrate my buddies, Danny Bacon and Thomas Wersching being seniors, as well as myself,” cheerleader Tabitha Castor said.
Senior night celebrates all three teams, football, cheerleading, and Knightline.
“I think senior night is a great way to celebrate our final year at North and it is a good way to recognize the athletes and their accomplishments throughout their high school career,” Knightline dancer, Monica Friedman said.
The football team has 19 seniors this year, which is more than they have had in the past. The team has been preparing for this night, but also dreading it since it will be their last game ever played at North.
“It makes me really happy to see all the seniors getting recognized for their awesomeness, but I am sad to leave my team, my brothers, and the people I have made the most memories with this year and in past years,” football player Danny Bacon said.
The boys are excited to play Timberland for their senior night. According to Senior Trey Flowers, it will be a good and close game. All of the players are looking forward to coming out Friday night to celebrate their time played at North, and are also hoping for their third win in a row.
“It is our last home game which is really sad, but this night and this game will be something I will never forget, no matter what the outcome of the game is,” football player Aj Schulze said.
