Students who are eager to buy sportswear during the winter will once again be able to do so at the annual Francis Howell North sports apparel sale which takes place today, from 12:30-5 p.m., Saturday., Nov. 22, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and
Sunday, from 10-2 a.m.
“Most people like it because it’s discount, but some people think it’s overwhelming because it is a lot of people and a lot of stuff,” Varsity Knightline dancer Anna Livingstone said.
Although the amount of people and the amount of stuff may be overwhelming, Livingstone believes it is beneficial to everyone. Customers are able to get quality sports attire at a discount while Knightline will receive funds for uniforms and airline fares for the team to go to nationals. According to Knightline Coach, Tammy Rokita, Friday is the day where it is most packed and crowded, so if customers would like to have a more peaceful environment, they should go to the sale on Saturday or Sunday. Rokita confirms that most people enjoy the sale no matter which day the go in.
“Yeah it’s crowded but it’s a good sale [with] items,” Rokita said. “The feedback is very positive and people always want to comeback.”
The sale will have a variety of clothing options including Cardinal, Mizzou, and other college apparel coming from companies ranging from Reebok and Adidas. Most items from the sale will be discounted by 25-50%, which allows customers to get Holiday gifts at a cheaper price.
“I think it will be good,” said Livingstone. “It’s right before Christmas, so a lot of people get Christmas stuff done.”
