English teacher Danny Dilber will be saying his goodbyes to the students and staff of FHN at the end of this school year. He is currently working to become a lawyer, and expects this will be his last year teaching at FHN.
“Dilber was a super cool teacher,” sophomore Evan Bernard said. “I’ll miss him when he’s gone.”
Dilber will receiving his Law Degree in May, and will be working in Corporate Transactions and Litigation. He currently works at a firm, and plans to either work at the same firm afterwards or someplace else.
“I wanted to become a lawyer because I find that profession to be exciting and challenging,” Dilber said.
Although leaving FHN, Dilber is happy he was able to teach, and enjoyed working with the students. He hopes that he taught students to read and write better, and to appreciate education more. According to Dibler, one of the few things he wishes he could change is the books he uses to teach.
“My favorite part about teaching is talking to funny and smart students,” Dilber said. “Hopefully, I helped students improve in their studies.”
Dilber has taught at FHN for seven years, and many graduating classes and current students will remember and miss him.
“I am glad I had the opportunity to teach because it was a fulfilling career,” Dilber said. “I am proud of the work I did.”
