Whereas the Lady Knights are coming off a close win against Timberland on Friday. Both the girls team and the boys team lost to Francis Howell by 20 plus points in their last meeting with the Vikings. One of the serious contenders from Howell North is freshmen Erin Stock. Stock hopes to qualify for state in the 100m butterfly. She is only 1.06 seconds behind Emma Brabham from Francis Howell, who leads the GAC in the 100m butterfly. This is a must watch Howell North swimming match. Wickenheiser Cup Semifinals:
On Friday, February 20, the Howell North hockey team will compete in the first game of a three game series against Timberland, for a chance to go to the final of the Wickenheiser Cup. If they win two of the three games they will go on to play the winner of the Fox-Seckman series. Howell North was placed in this cup because they did not win their division otherwise they would’ve been in the Challenge Cup. In the quarterfinal match against Lutheran South, the Knights dropped the first game 1-4 on Saturday. Then Monday night, the Knights beat the Cougars 4-2 forcing a ten minute mini-game in which the Knights won 1-0 with a goal from Brycon Johnson. In Timberland and Howell North’s last meeting North won 9-4. With how exciting the last games have been you should definitely go watch this series.
