On Friday February 13, the Varsity boys basketball team battled the Howell Vikings. The game was the Pink Ribbon game.
“I think we played all right. We kinda dug ourselves in a hole early in the first half but we need to learn to play a full four quarters, said junior Cameron Landers. ”
The score at the end of the first quarter was 19-7 with the Vikings in the lead. The score at the end of the second quarter was 34-25 with the Vikings in the lead.The score at the end of the third quarter was 44-35 with the Vikings in the lead.
“I think we just play a tough full four quarters and I think we can play with any team if we just get back at it, and we will be able to win these games, said Landers. ”
The Knights were defeated by the Vikings. The final score was 69-62. The Varsity boys next basketball game will be Tuesday February 17 versus Fort Zumwalt West, at 7:00.
