After having spring break you have had plenty of chances to see movies. With Chappie, Unfinished Business, Run All Night, Cinderella and The Cobbler hitting the theaters the past two weekends you think you could be movie’d out. But in case you can always go for a movie here is a preview of what you should go see this weekend.
Home (animation)
Description- An alien on the run from his own people, lands on Earth and makes friends with the adventurous Tip, who is on a quest of her own.
With a very unique cast with Jim Parson, Rihanna, Steve Martin, and Jennifer Lopez it catches the eye of many movie fans and kids alike. This movie is recommended for the families who want a heartwarming adventure that will most likely have a couple good jokes designed for the kids as well as a few for the adults. IMDB rates it 6.8 stars and is been anticipated mainly because of Jim Parson voicing the lead role.
Get Hard (comedy)
Description- When millionaire James King is nailed for fraud and bound for San Quentin, he turns to Darnell Lewis to prep him to go behind bars.
Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart. The kings of comedy coming together to make a movie for any person who just wants to laugh. With the trailers not giving too many of the jokes away and people raving about this ever since the two actors announced making a movie together years ago, this is one of the highest anticipated comedies of the year so far. IMDB rates it at 6.5 and is most likely going to lead the box office next weekend.
Serena (drama)
Description- In Depression-era North Carolina, the future of George Pemberton’s timber empire becomes complicated when he marries Serena.
With an IMDB rating of 5.5 and a story like that, it’s hard to get excited for. But the leading stars being dream duo Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence you still have the urge to see it. They have done action movies together and a sort of romantic comedy but this one is their first big drama movie together and it should bring in a lot of fans of both actors especially after watching Cooper in American Sniper.
While We’re Young (drama/comedy)
Description- A middle-aged couple’s career and marriage are overturned when a disarming young couple enters their lives.
With Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts playing the lead couple you know it’s unique but with a not-so-unique story but set to a very smaller based comedy it makes it very tempting to see. Plus Ben Stiller has not done a lot of movies recently beside Walter Mitty and Night of the Museum 3. IMDB rates it a 7.2 which I think will draw plenty of people to see it this weekend.
