Knightline, Studline Returns for Annual Homecoming Routine

By Alexis Rowe

During homecoming week, Knightline will be performing at both the pep assembly and the homecoming game. The pep assembly will be Thursday, Sept. 17 and the homecoming game will be Friday, Sept. 18.

“There hasn’t really been a hard part preparing for this,” sophomore Knightline member Rachel Pirrone said, “It’s just a really fun and enjoyable event for us.”

The girls have been preparing for the past couple weeks. They began with some of the girls learning the choreography. This past week all of the other girls have learned the choreography.
Studline will be joining them in practice this week in order to be prepared for Thursday’s pep assembly and Friday’s football game.

“Most people generally look forward to Studline because it’s such a long-standing tradition for Homecoming,” Pirrone said.

Knightline will be accompanied by Studline this year. Studline is a group of boys who work with Knightline to learn a dance and perform at the pep assembly and Homecoming game. The boys have been working with Knightline in order to learn their performance in time for all of the Homecoming events. Studline is a tradition during Spirit week and is another thing many people anticipate.

“It’s been a lot of fun working with Studline because all of them are really excited,” Pirrone said.
