The varsity Knights won their homecoming game against the Spartans on Sept. 18 with a score of 35-14. The first quarter ended with a score of 14-7.
“I think we did well on defense, making tackles and wrapping up,” Trey Pettit said. “I expect to come out with another win next game”.
The second quarter ended with a score of 28-7, and the third quarter ended with a score of 35-7.
“Defense did a good job of keeping the run down, and a pretty good job at the pass game which has kinda been a hard part for us,” Nick Gehricke said. “We just have to do what we did again, just keep doing our responsibilities, and what we said on paper, ‘cuz we can win on paper we just have to execute it.”
Homecoming court was also announced tonight with Matt Borrelli winning homecoming king, and Kristen Metts winning homecoming queen.
