The FHN JV softball team competed against FHC on Sept. 22 at home. The Knights started off the game by getting a run against their rivals in the first inning.
“I think we did very well today considering we’ve had a lot of set backs lately,” junior Kama Struckhoff said, “I think what we could improve for next game is communication and knowing where to go if and when the ball is hit to you”
The Spartans got ahead in the second inning with a score of 4-1. By the end of the fifth inning, FHC was up 7-3.
“We need to focus more during the game. Today we were all over the place,” sophomore Skylar Ruiz said, “Everything was kind of crazy.”
