On Tuesday, Oct. 6, the varsity volleyball girls will be playing against the Francis Howell Central Spartans at Francis Howell Central at 6 p.m. Last year the girls lost with a score of 1-2.
“It’s kind of hard to work on things specifically,” said Baylie Clynes “The team is different this year without the seniors and with the new players”
This year the girls are going to work on their serve receive and try to be more strategic against FHC. The girls are trying to pick up their weakness and secure the team all around by practicing and by focusing on their individual strong skills.
“I’m going to try to get the offense to be more creative and strategic with how they play,” Clynes said.
The next game is against Fort Zumwalt East on Oct. 9 at 5 p.m. The next home game is on Oct. 13 against Francis Howell High School. This will be their senior night.
“I’m very close to all four of them,” said Sam Alexander. “It’s going to be very hard to say goodbye to them.”
