Car Talk: Got Foggy Headlights?
Published: November 6, 2015
Do you park your car out in the sun often? Do you have foggy headlights? If you don’t already, you probably will soon. Headlight fogging is when the plastic housing for the light fogs up and begins to turn slightly opaque, diminishing the amount of light projected onto the road at night.
The easiest but slightly expensive way to clear up your foggy headlights would be to purchase a kit, such as Meguiar’s Headlight Restoration Kit. Alternatively, if you already have a car polish and microfiber towel, those will work too, albeit not quite as effectively.
Clear headlight housings will not only make your headlights brighter, they give your car a deserved clean-up and refresh.
