12-10 JV Girls Basketball vs Fort Zumwalt East [Photo Gallery]

On Dec. 10, the Francis Howell North JV girls basketball team competed against Fort Zumwalt East. The FHN Knights ended up defeating the Lions with a final score of 31-9.

“I think that we passes really well and we had really good defense,” freshman Emma Booker said.

The Knights were up in the first quarter 9-3. By half time, the Knights had 16 while the Lions were still at 3. At the end of the third quarter, the Lions has scored another basket, making the score 24-5. By the end of the game, the Knights pulled through with a win 31-9.

“We played as a team tonight,” coach Lamb said. “We talked about working really hard in practice and that is what we did.”
