Class Selections Start for 2016-2017 School Year
Throughout the week, guidance counselors will host English classes in various labs around the school assisting with reenrollment for the 2016-2017 school year. Class selections will be done on CareerCruising.com. Registration is open from Jan. 11 through Jan. 21. Karis Skaggs, a writer for FHNtoday, will have a article coming the first part of the week explaining how to go about enrolling into classes for next year.
Missouri State Thespian Conference
After school on Wednesday last week, the Drama Club left for Kansas City to participate in the Missouri State Thespian Conference. FHNtoday Web Staffer Bree Williams will be tagging along. Watch for her report on the conference coming this week.
All Knighter Breakfast
In an attempt to help fund the next All Knighter, a lock-in situation that graduating seniors experience the night of graduation, the event’s committee is holding a breakfast at 9 a.m. in the commons.
Blue Angels Visit Chesterfield Airport
The U.S. Navy Blue Angels visited the Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield on Monday, Jan. 5. Their purpose was to meet with Spirit of St. Louis Air Show administration to coordinate resources that will be available to the team during the May 2016 air show. Local media including two FHNtoday staff members were present at the arrival of the team and plan to bring you more details on the experience this Thursday.
Jazz Band Festival Returns to Webster University
Webster University will be playing host to the Jazz Band Festival on Wednesday, Jan. 13. Jazz Band students from schools and districts all around the St. Louis area will be attending to show off their musical skills.
