FHSD Superintendent Pam Sloan talks Snow Day Cancellation Policy

The FHSD district administration has announced that classes will be cancelled for Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016.

After multiple surrounding school districts and private schools in the St. Louis area called off school for Wednesday, Francis Howell followed suit. Current and future road and weather conditions come into play when making the call. Although road conditions in some suburban areas of the district may be seen as easy to drive on, other parts of the district are located in rural areas that are not so well-maintained by their respective municipalities.

Though school is called off, many teachers and administrators are encouraging students to continue working on school work at home in their textbooks or via the Internet.
