Off to a great come back from their last game against FZW tying with a score of 0-0, the Junior Varsity Lady Knights beat the Troy Trojans with a score of 3-1.
“I feel like we are getting closer as a team now so we will start playing better and the season will have better results.” Freshman Jenna Galkowski said.
This year there is only girls on JV and varsity, no one is specifically assigned to the C team. Although some of the JV girls will play those games. Some girls were nervous about the teams being set up this way but it turns out that it isn’t so bad.
“I was anxious to see what would happen with the amount of girls on the team, but it ended up being really good,” sophomore Maddie Adams said. “I’m meeting girls I might not have met if it weren’t for this big of a team. I think it’ll be good, we have a bunch of skilled girls who each add something to our team.” (Photos by Riley McCrackin)
