On April 28 and 29, the FHN boys tennis team will be hosting GAC’s. They hope to
do well against a couple tough matchups. Their record is currently 7-2.
“We need to be strong in our doubles matches to pick up some of our points,” senior Colin Griffin said. “I think we will be able to top everyone overall in GAC’s.”
Doubles and play-ins will be played on April 28 and singles will be played on April 29. Most of the team got the No. 1 seeds, but some will have to play difficult matches early on. Their toughest competition will be FHH.
“I think the team will do good tomorrow,” junior Bryce Perry said. “We need to stay focused and play to the best of our ability.”
“I think the team has a good chance at winning GAC’s,” senior Dani Amir said. “We just need to stay focused and determined and play it like any other match. We’ve been practicing hard, and now it’s time to show and put in the work.”
