Sophomore Ruth Ayalew is one of the girls on FHN’s new girls lacrosse team and on april 13th interviewed her to see what her thoughts were and why she choose to do lacrosse in her sophomore year . I asked her why she was interested in doing lacrosse. Ruth Ayalew responded, “ I knew it was the first year for fhn and also I did tennis this year.  I really like doing a sport during the school year I liked how we had games and I loved getting involved, I felt like doing lacrosse would be a great start to the year and I didn’t have any clue how to play lacrosse so it was like a fun thing to do.”  I asked her if she thought you would continue playing lacrosse at FHN. Ruth said, “ Yes I hope to do it all three years until I’m a senior and maybe play after high school as well.” I asked ruth who or where she heard about the FHN’s new girls lacrosse team and she responded, “ I just heard about it because my friends were going to do it  and I went the meetings and i researched it and learned about the rules of lacrosse and i liked it.”
