Before the 2016 prom an assembly was held in the large gym. The point of the assembly was to stop drinking and driving and try to keep everyone safe for prom night. Guest speaker, Sarah Panzau, came and talked to the upperclassmen about her experience under the influence driving. Traveling to lots of schools, she hopes to spread the word and stop teens from ending up in her situation.
