6-4 Graduation On Saturday June 4, the FHN class of 2016 gathered for the last time at the family arena. Graduation started at 9 a.m. with the senior class entering after the school board.
” when i walked up there it felt like my high school life waster and i was entering a new journey into the future of my life” Senior Austin Obst said.
The presentation of the class and the presentation of the diplomas were presented by Downs and the Board of Education. After the diplomas were presented, the senior ensemble performed ‘I’ll be there for you’. The senior class officers then presented the class banner with the class motto ‘Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice; it is not something to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved’ by William Jennings Bryan. The graduates then lined up in a horseshoe and threw their caps.
“it was nice seeing everyone again one last time, the performances were great and it was sad leaving” Austin Ferguson said.
