Marching Band

Marching band is a fall sport that starts with band camp in July and ends in October. The band travels around the state competing in competitions against other bands across the country. They have one big trip every year and this year they are traveling to Iowa to compete in two competitions.

“I’m so excited for our big trip this year,” sophomore Paige Prinster said. “It’s going to be so fun.”

If you would like to join marching band, show up to the first day of band camp on July 13. Or contact director Jeffrey Moorman. The band includes percussion , brass, and woodwinds. If you don’t know how to march, Don’t worry they will teach you. If you are interested in joining attend the first music camp on may 12.

“The best part of band is the people,” sophomore Sydney Wise said. “I have met so many lifelong friends it’s pretty great.”
