On Friday, Oct. 21 the FHN Knights held their first district game at North. The Knights won against Parkway South with a final score of 33-21. Their record in the regular season was 5-4.
“It feels amazing [to win],” senior Chris Schniepp said. “It’s one of the best feelings I’ve had for awhile. I’m just glad that the season is not over.”
The Knights first scored with seven minutes left in the first quarter. It became tied, but the Knights managed to score yet again in the first quarter. They scored once more in the second quarter, and the rest of their goals came in the third and fourth quarter.
“It’s my senior year,” Schniepp said. “My coach said it was the first time ever that we played at home. I just wanted to win the first game”.
The Knights will play at Hazelwood East this Saturday at 5 p.m. for the next playoff game.
