10/28 JV Hockey Gold Cup [Photo Gallery]

On Oct. 28, JV hockey held their 23rd annual Gold Cup at Rec Plex South. Gold Cup is the annual hockey game between FHN and Francis Howell. FHN lost with a score of 2-3.

“My favorite thing about Gold Cup is how loud our student section can be,” junior Maddie Oswald said.

Howell was the first to score in the first period. North tied it up in the last period, but Howell scored two more goals. North came back with another goal with four seconds left. Although JV lost Gold Cup, Varsity tied with Howell with the score of 4-4.

FHN’s next game will be against St. Mary’s on Thursday, Nov. 3 at Affton Ice Rink at 9 p.m.
