The Knights started off ahead in the first period but fell behind to allow for a tie at the end of the first half. The second half went back and forth between losing and being tied. However, Justin Mathews-Williams scored the winning points at the free throw line in the form of two penalty shots. The Knights won by two points with a score of 49-47.
“Personally, I feel like I could’ve done more to help the team, at least in the first game,” junior Evan Gallagher said. “I felt last night I did alright, but I didn’t have much of an impact the first and third game I felt. I feel like, as a team, everyone on the floor needs to have an impact. It doesn’t necessarily need to be a big impact, just an impact.”
