Justin Mathews-Williams was the first to score in the game, dropping a jump shot in the second minute against FHC on Jan. 31. FHC didn’t score their first points until 3:52 remaining in the first period. FHC brought the score within one point in the third quarter, but Fletcher Dietrich gave FHN some breathing room with a last-second three pointer at the buzzer. The Knights won their second straight with the 74-66 victory.
“It feels great,” assistant coach Mark Wright said. “We’re on a two game winning streak now. We won a big conference game at home against a rival like Howell Central. Anytime we can do that, that’s great.”
