On Friday, Feb. 10, FHN’s varsity boys basketball team faced FHHS in the annual Pink Ribbon game. The boys took a tough loss by a score of 77-36. Although they lost, FHN raised more than $2,000 for Breast Cancer research.
“Their point guard is a lot quicker than normal, so all they have to do is run through him,” senior Jose Alega said. “He gets by really easily so everybody else has to help and it leaves a lot of people open.”
After the first period the score was 16-6. After the second period the score was 41-23. With this loss, the boys’ record is 5-14.
Their next game is on Friday, Feb. 17 at TBHS at 7.
