The Snowfactory is based in the Delmar Loop in St. Louis. The shop specializes in Thai ice cream that starts as a liquid and is chopped and rolled into a solid. The business has become very popular because of it’s freshly made ice cream and fresh fruits along with the unique flavors of ice cream. The store was mainly organized by Van Liu, who originally came from China and traveled to Thailand where he learned how to make this style of ice cream.
“I think people here might like it because it’s really unusual how they make ice cream in their way in a way we’ve never seen before, so I think it’s going to be a great concept that people will like to watch and eat,” Liu said.
