On Wednesday, April 12, the FHN Knights boys tennis team faced off against SCHS. Although one of their top players, sophomore Sachin Milli, was out with an injury, they still ended up with the win. The final score was 6-3.
“It feels pretty good [to play No. 1 my senior year],” senior Eric Dickherber said. “I didn’t expect to be doing as well as I’m doing… and I’m hoping we can continue how we are playing into the final parts of the season.”
This win brought their record to 5-4 in the regular season. Their record was 3-3 at the Holt tournament this past weekend. At the SCHS match, the seniors won three courts and the juniors won two.
“Experience was key in our win yesterday,” coach Beth Jameson said.
The Knights next match will be April 18 at home against SCW at 3:30 p.m.
