The (0-2) Knights faced off against the (0-2) Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs. The Knights opened the scoring with a long run by Quarterback Connor Gallagher just 1:29 into the game. From there it was a close game until the Bulldogs scored a touchdown with just 2 minutes remaining. The extra point by the Bulldogs was no good do to a good attack by the Knights special teams unit limiting the bulldogs to a 27-21 lead. The Knights then marched down the field large in part to Connor Gallagher, Ronald Woods, and Maurice Massey. Connor Gallagher made the final punch in with a 2 yard touchdown run to tie the game at 27. The Knights successfully completed the extra point to take a 1 point lead 28-27. On the following kick return time expired resulting in a 28-27 victory for the Knights. The Knights are now 1-2 going into there next game against the Fort Zumwalt West Jaguars next Friday September 8th at North.
