The Knights are still yet to beat the Fort Zumwalt West Jaguars in the past ten years. On the night of Sept. 8, 2017, the Knights were defeated by the Jaguars by a score of 48-0.

The Knights were coming off a 28-27 win against the Ft. Zumwalt South Bulldogs. They felt as if that win would help them kick start their season into the right direction.

The Knights felt confident going into this week. The first quarter started off slow for both teams.

From the second quarter on, it was all Zumwalt West. The Knights could not manage to get the ball into the end zone or the uprights.

The Knights had a hard time stopping the Jaguars quarterback Jake Verschoore from completing his passes. He was unstoppable all night.

The run game was also strong with the Jaguars. Zhiyir McCloud used the sidelines to his advantage for the majority of the game to help the Jaguars take down the Knights.

The Jaguars defense was outstanding the entire night managing to keep the Knights out of their half of the field for most of the game. The Knights did have plenty of scoring opportunities but they could not manage to put some points on the board.

Last year the Knights were defeated by the Jaguars by a score of 77-42. The Knights are playing against the Francis Howell Vikings next Friday, hoping to get their offense going to get their second win of the season.
