Q: How are the team’s injuries going to affect the team?

A: When people are injured on the team, the boys need to step up their game. All the boys have the same responsibilities.

Q: How is the team going to bounce back with confidence?

A: The boys have been playing very good teams. We started the year off with a 6-1-1 record. We have so far only lost to the opposing team by one goal, so if we end up losing by one then I will feel very good because they are defending state champs.

Q: What do you plan to get out of the game?

A: Having another result is what we want, but we want to make sure we are getting better and understanding how to defend better.

Q: Does playing the defending state champs make the boys excited or nervous?

A: I am hoping it will make the boys excited. This is giving the boys opportunities if we were to beat them then we can play on the same field as anyone.

Q: CBC beat Rockwood Summit and our team lost to them. Does this make you feel like you are on an equal playing field?

A: It’s hard to compare because every team is different. The players are different we need to adjust to how they play.

Q: What do you need to do to get a goal instead of giving up a goal because you have so far only lost to the opposing team by one goal?

A: We need to defend when we have to defend. We are going to have to stay organized, we are going to have to open things up when we are attacking. We have been trying to work on putting the ball on the frame in practice.
