The (2-6) North Knights take on the (0-8) Washington Blue Jays. The big stories tonight were the return of junior player Aidan Mcdaniel and the dominant play of sophomore Patrick Koester. The Knights struck quickly with a touchdown in under three minutes of play. The Knights didn’t let up though. The team entered half time up 24-12. From there they only got even more dominant as the defense didn’t let a single point in the second half. “We’ve got a bunch of seniors, and make sure, after this game, you can look them [seniors] in the eye,” Coach Beville remarked about the senior night game. The nights enter the Class 5 state tournament after going (3-6) on the year. The Knights next game will be against the Hazelwood East Spartans who were (5-4) through their regular season.
