Audrey Forth and 12 other people went on a mission trip last summer to Hungary. They taught kids English. The class Audrey taught was an English III class, the students in that class already had a basic knowledge of vocabulary, numbers and some verbs.

“I prayed a lot about what God wanted me to do this past summer,” Forth said. “I knew that He wanted me to use the gifts that He’s given me, and Hungary seemed like a good fit. I love teaching, working with kids and meeting new people, so it made sense after praying about it.”

Their days consisted of waking up early, eating breakfast as a team and walking to the metro and then having a quick meeting with the translators and workers. They sang, watched movies, played games, did crafts and had bible lessons. Overall it seems like they had a good time. The group rarely got homesick, because they were always busy and had so much fun.

“My biggest take away was that God can use you wherever you are,” Forth said. “It can be hard to stay strong in what you believe from day to day- God has shown me that I need to rely on Him and put Him first, and He will get me through life.”
