Bryce Longmore
Q: How does playing hockey make you feel?
A: I can’t describe it. It’s like heaven for me. Being on the ice, and having the cold air flow through my hair is an amazing feeling.
Q: How long have you played hockey?
A: I’ve been playing since I was only three. My dad played hockey and he loved it so he got me into it.
Q: How has hockey shaped your relationships?
A: My life has revolved around hockey. I’ve made a lot of friends from it. It taught me important life lessons like being a team player and respecting others.
Q: What are you looking forward to most this season.
A: Honestly just getting back out there on the ice and having fun.
Q: How have you improved as a player?
A: A lot of things, my skating style, my shot. Just playing more aggressive overall and giving it 100% each time I’m on the floor.
Kamryn Bell
Q: How long have you dived for North?
A: I dived my sophomore year and again this year. I started because how desperately the team needed a diver, we needed more points at our meets because we had no divers.
Q: How would you describe being a diver?
A: Its nerve racking. All eyes are on you, and I feel like the whole team depends on me a lot, but it’s also a lot of fun.
Q: How have you prepared for the upcoming season?
A: We have to do fourteen practices before a meet. So I practice every single day until the meet comes.
Q: What do you enjoy most about diving?
A: I enjoy meeting new people, and still being able to do flips and things like that since I don’t do gymnastics anymore. I also love the adrenaline I get from it.
Q: Do you ever have difficulty balancing school and writing?
A: Oh yeah, it’s definitely difficult. I’m always going from one thing to another, to another, to another. I have like a job, diving, honors classes. I never go to sleep before 1:00 A.M.
Q: How has diving affected your high school career and relationships with others?
A: I think it brought me closer to my teammates. Their pretty thankful I’m doing this and it’s nice to try new things.
