Reide Pearson, Emily Hood, Sarah Zimmerman, and Fabian Schwuchow

Keary Ritchie is a teacher at the Nahed Chapman New American Academy in St. Louis, Missouri. The NCNAA is home to hundreds of refugee students who are being integrated into the American school system. Ritchie is responsible for helping each student adjust from the trauma and struggles they have been through before and while they are attending the school. Her co-workers look up to her teaching style and the way she interacts with her students. Ritchie is also attending Webster University as a full-time student studying Applied Educational Psychology in order to understand her students more. She hopes to impact her students in a way that will change their lives as well as the mindset of the community around them.
