The Best Combinations For Teens Who Can’t Decide What to do

MILK THEN CEREAL OR CEREAL THEN MILK

Cereal then milk is traditional and normal, but going for a second bowl and pouring more cereal on top of the milk is reasonable. It won’t make any sense to go that way if someone goes for seconds. Personally, the right way is to go for the milk first then the cereal. Milk makes bones stronger and having a majority of milk with less cereal makes my mornings. Many people say whoever does the milk first then the cereal is crazy, not having to pour more milk when there’s already enough for several bowls.

“I do cereal then the milk because you get more cereal and it’s not soggy,” junior Barrah Abuelawi said.

LICK THE OREO OR BITE THE OREO

Licking the Oreo gets all the icing off, which is fun and hits people with lots of sugar, and then can get to the rest of the cookies, which is also tasty. Eating Oreos isn’t the same if the eater just don’t bites it, though. Breaking the cookie open just to lick the filling is pointless when eating it in two bites.  Everyone eats cookies differently, but for me enjoying the cookie whole is better instead of doing all extra steps.

“I bite the cookie because it’s a cookie and it’s supposed to be eaten like a cookie,” freshman Taylor Dumbar said.

MOVIE THEATERS OR HOME MOVIES

Watching movies at home is fun for date nights or even just a relaxing day when there’s nothing else to do. Staying in and having a good time with friends or loved ones, but when out at the movies, there’s a whole new atmosphere. The food, the drinks and the games all make the movies better. Watching movies at home will be pointless because there will be more things to do than actually watching the movie, unlike going to the movie theater.

“I like being in the comfort of my own home, and people are just too loud in the movie theaters,” senior Marissa Hunt said.

KETCHUP ON CHICKEN OR BBQ SAUCE ON CHICKEN

Cold fried chicken can be good with ketchup, and the salty content from the chicken and the ketchup is just a good blend together sometimes. Fries are for ketchup and bbq sauce is for meats, though. No if’s, and’s or but’s about it. Ketchup is bland with zero flavors, so why put it on chicken?  Barbecue sauce comes in many flavors and spices and adding it to seasoned chicken that could be baked, fried and steamed.

“I love chicken with barbecue sauce because most flavors are tangy, and it just goes well with it,” junior Hanna Alexander said.

TURN THE TACO OR TILT YOUR HEAD

Turning the taco is helpful when eating. Most of the times it keeps the body inside of the shell and if it spills out then you can easily pick it up and enjoy it.  Eating Mexican food is one of my favorite things to do and make, but I hate it when my taco falls apart. I tilt my head to a 35 degree, so enjoying every bite will be satisfying.

“[I like] turning my head when I eat the taco because I don’t want none of it to fall out, and it’s just easier to catch my food,” freshman Sierra Jolliff said.
