FHN’s Knightpride Marching Band debuted their 2018 fall program “WIRED” last night, Aug. 30, at the Francis Howell preview. Performing second, the band began with a suspenseful downtempo and escalated to an energetic anthem with each movement.
“I didn’t know what to expect,” fifth chair flute Emilee Statzer said. “But it went well, good improvement from last year.”
Members of the FHN community were there to encourage those on the field. The strong support of the band is one of it’s biggest successes.
“Having my friends cheering me on was the best part” Flagline member Aakruthi Pasuparthi said. “It reminds me that this is one of the most rewarding things I do.”
