Q: What are your goals for this season? How will you achieve these goals?

A: We want to have everybody improve and we want to be working together as a team. We’re going to work toward them by practicing the fundamentals and getting down the little things.

Q: What team are you most excited to play against? Why?

A: I’m most excited to play against the Francis Howell softball team. Those are always good games and there is a good rivalry between our teams.

Q: Who are some players to look out for this season?

A: Julia Hannon. She had a lot of confidence last year and so we’ll see where she goes this year. Lily St. John and Maggie Majesky are two other players you’ll need to watch for. They’re both seniors.

Q: Are there any changes to the team this year?

A: We lost everybody. A lot of girls quit last year and there are only two returning. It will be a really young team. It’ll be a struggle at first, because not many girls are used to varsity level, but they’ll adjust after a while.

Q: What are you most excited about this year?

I want to see how they grow and get better at their sport. They want to keep getting better, and they do. They keep improving.
