Each first hour teacher is encouraged to take a “selfie” with their first hour class in their spirit week apparel. The photos need to be posted on Twitter or Instagram by the beginning of second hour in order to be entered into the contest. If the photo is posted to Twitter or Instagram instead of being emailed in, please make sure it’s posted to an open account and not one that’s locked because the photos won’t be visible. Also, if it’s posted to Twitter or Instagram you need to tag @FHNtoday in the post and use the hashtag #FHNcommunity. The staff will collect the photos at the start of second hour and all photos will be posted on FHNtoday.com during third hour and will be open for voting on the site until 7 p.m. each day. You will find the page to vote on each day on the front page of FHNtoday.com. The first hour class photo with the most votes will win donuts to eat the next morning (Friday’s winner will be rewarded Monday and Thursday’s will be rewarded the following Monday).

The winner will be tweeted out each night at 7:30 p.m. and an email will be sent to the teacher letting them know their class won.

As we said, we will be using the hashtag #FHNcommunity throughout the week, so if you post anything to Twitter or Instagram throughout the week,  please tag @FHNtoday and use the hashtag. We encourage your participation and look forward to seeing your photos!
