Kimberlin Sargent Stars in Fall Play

The classic comedy You Can’t Take It With You is the FHN Thespians annual Fall Play show this year. One of the main characters though is Penelope Sycamore, who is portrayed by senior Kimberlin Sargent.

“We normally do a horror comedy, but this is just a straight comedy which I love,” Sargent said. “I think it has a lot of laughs, so having a bigger part means I have more of a character which is always nice.”

During play rehearsals, Kimberlin has been doing a fabulous job, according to Drama Club Sponsor Kim Sulzner.

“This is a big role for her, it’s more difficult than some she’s had in the past,” Sulzner said. “She’s been doing a fabulous job so far. We’re just getting to the point where the personality of the characters are starting to come out.”

As the play continues, Sargent hopes to bring the character to life and hopes to give a good show. The play will be held in the auditorium from Oct. 25 through Oct. 27.

“It’s been amazing,” Sargent said. “Overall it’s gone very smoothly, I love the people who are in it. There’s a lot of chemistry between characters.”
