Second HOSA Trivia Night to be Held in the Commons on Nov. 9

A baby picture flashes across the screen. Who could it be? The Rock? Justin Bieber? Barack Obama? They write in a random name, guessing and hoping for the best as their eyes flit to the first place prize- a basket worth over $200.
This was just one of many experiences students, families, teachers, parents, anyone could remember as they look back on last year’s HOSA Trivia Night as the event nears again. Meanwhile, HOSA was also able to look back on how the trivia night ran to prepare for this year.
“Hopefully, it will run smoother than last year,” sophomore Angela Cuccio said. “Since last year was our first year doing it, we know more of what to expect and how to prepare better for it this year.”
This year, the trivia night will take place on Friday, Nov. 9 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the FHN commons. It costs $8 per person, and each table can have up to eight people, for a total of $64 per table. Everyone is welcome to bring their own food, drinks and decorations, as there will be a prize for best table decorations.
“I hope it goes well and that a lot of people show up,” freshman Puneet Sontha said. “It’s a fun event and you can learn stuff.”
