Knightchoir will be hosting a Karaoke Knight on Friday, Nov. 16, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. The event will take place in the commons and has a $5 entry fee. There will be snacks and drinks sold for $1 each.

“I like that choir puts it on, because it’s a lot of fun for students and their families to sing and hangout with each other while working to build more of the FHN Community,” said senior Juan Alega.

The choir is holding these karaoke nights to help the funding for the 42 students traveling to New York in February. In New York, the students get to experience singing in Carnegie Hall while being directed by famous composer Ola Gjeilo.

“I am excited and nervous at the same time because he is an amazing composer,” said junior Harley Torpea

Along with performing at Carnegie Hall, students will get to experience New York life. They will see Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, take a stroll through Central Park, visit Times Square and eat at different famous restaurants.

“I am so excited to go ride the subway,” senior Genesis Jones said. “But only because I have never rode it before.”

Along with the Karaoke Knight, Knightchoir will be selling bath bombs during all lunches for $5 each. There are many different scents including lavender, birthday cake, Christmas spice, mistletoe, peppermint, etc.

Tickets for the Karaoke Knight will be sold at all lunches and at the door.
