How to Make Mango Pie with Shikha Annem

Senior Shikha Annem walks us through the process of making mango pie. This recipe has been passed on in her family and is enjoyed by many people.


  • 30 Oz. Mango Pulp (full can, approximately 4 cups)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 8 Oz. Cool Whip
  • 8 Oz. Cream Cheese
  • 1 Oz. Unflavored Gelatin
  • 3 Cups water
  • 2 Pie Crusts


  1. Boil 3 cups of water in pot or large bowl
  2. Add Gelatin and stir until it dissolves
  3. Add sugar
  4. Let mixture cool down
  5. Add Cool Whip, Cream Cheese, and mango pulp
  6. Mix the mixture with an electric mixer until well blended
  7. Pour the mixture into pie crusts
  8. Refrigerate for 6 hours, or overnight
  9. After it is solidified, you can cut it into cubes or slices and serve
