Every year in April, FHN students take End of Course exams, or EOCs. EOC’s are exams students take to show what they have learned throughout the year. With having so many EOCs, FHN has block scheduling for two weeks so there’s enough time to finish the tests at one time. On Monday’s and Wednesday’s, students start at second hour then go to homeroom. After a 90 minute homeroom, students would go to their fourth hour and will eat lunch when their teacher is assigned to eat. On Tuesday’s and Thursday’s, students attend first, third, fifth and seventh hours. In fifth hour the teacher will be assigned when to eat. Then on Friday, April 19 there is no school. On Friday, May 3 it’s a normal day. There will be a normal week in between the two weeks.
