On Oct 8, Francis Howell North’s C-team volleyball played against Holt High school. During the first set, FHN and Holt were neck and neck until Holt won by 2. The second set FHN was losing 0-7, but Samantha Turnbull put them over leading them to win the set. They tied leading them to play another set resulting in Francis Howell North winning. Holt won the first set (23-25) and FHN won the second (25-23). FHN also won the third set, leading to them winning all together. “Overall I feel both teams did well but some plays weren’t taken very lightly,” Freshman Sophia Black, number 8, on the C-team said.(Photos by Rachel Stover)
